LinkedIn content for MSPs and IT support providers, published for you

Signalpost writes and publishes LinkedIn posts for MSPs and IT support providers on a schedule, using a preset covering cyber security, compliance, cloud and business continuity — with a hard rule against ever referencing a client incident.

Why MSP marketing usually reads the same

There are only so many ways to post a padlock stock image over the words 'is your business protected?'. Because most MSPs outsource content to a generalist, the sector has converged on the same fear-led template, which prospects have learned to scroll past.

The other failure mode is worse. The genuinely interesting material an MSP has — the incident they contained last month — is precisely the material they must not publish. Turning a client's bad week into a LinkedIn post is a fast way to lose the client and the referrals attached to them.

Signalpost's MSP preset is written to sit between those two: explain real risk calmly, using general and publicly reported context, without fear-driving and without ever drawing on your own client base.

The guardrail: no client incidents, no names, no exploit instructions

Never reference a client incident, breach or customer name. No specific exploit instructions.

This is loaded into the system prompt as a constraint, not a suggestion. It means the automated content cannot accidentally do the one thing that would cost you a client relationship — and it means nothing you publish reads as a how-to for the attack you are describing.

What Signalpost cannot do

Posts publish to the connected personal LinkedIn profile, not a company page. Company pages require LinkedIn's Community Management API, which needs partner approval we do not hold. Signalpost is a new product with no published customer numbers, case studies or reviews — judge it on the demo, not on claims.

IT Support & Managed Services: frequently asked questions

Will it post about incidents we have handled?

No. The MSP preset forbids referencing any client incident, breach or customer name, and that rule is applied at generation time. Content is built from general security, compliance, cloud and continuity topics instead.

Is the content going to be fear-based cyber marketing?

The preset's tone instruction is explicitly calm and non-scaremongering: explain risk without fear-driving. If a particular angle still does not suit you, add it to your exclusion list and it will not appear again.

Can it post to our company page instead of a personal profile?

Not today. Posts go to the connected personal LinkedIn profile, because company-page posting requires LinkedIn's Community Management API and partner approval we do not hold.

Do we have to approve each post?

No — fully automatic is the default and nothing waits on you. If you would rather check first, switch on review-before-publish in settings and posts are created as drafts in your queue instead.

How does the scheduling work?

You pick a frequency (three times a week or daily) and the times of day. A job runs every 15 minutes, finds accounts due in their own timezone, generates the post and publishes it. A database-level unique constraint on the slot means a re-run can never double-post.

How much does it cost?

£99 per month for three posts a week, £249 per month for daily plus blog, £499 per month for multi-brand and custom feeds. GBP, monthly, cancel any time.
