Terms of Service
Effective date: 31 August 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Signalpost (the "Service"), operated by [COMPANY LEGAL NAME] ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales under company number [COMPANY NUMBER], registered office at [REGISTERED ADDRESS]. Contact: [SUPPORT EMAIL].
1. What Signalpost does
Signalpost is a self-serve subscription service that generates and publishes industry-relevant LinkedIn content on your behalf, on a schedule you control, using content you can review, edit, pause or stop at any time.
2. Your account
You must be at least 18 and have authority to bind the business you sign up on behalf of. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
3. Connecting LinkedIn
To publish, you must connect your own LinkedIn account via LinkedIn's official OAuth authorisation flow. You grant Signalpost permission to post to your connected account on your behalf, on the schedule and settings you configure. You can revoke this permission at any time, either from within Signalpost or directly from your LinkedIn account settings, and we will stop publishing to that account immediately once revoked. We only ever request the minimum LinkedIn permissions needed to publish; we do not read your private messages, connections, or other data outside what LinkedIn's publishing API requires.
4. AI-generated content
Content published by Signalpost is generated using artificial intelligence based on the niche preset, topics and settings you choose. While we apply compliance guardrails per industry, AI-generated content can occasionally be inaccurate, generic, or not reflect your business precisely. You are responsible for reviewing your settings and, if accuracy matters for a specific post, for using the "review before publishing" option or editing or skipping individual posts before they go out. We are not liable for the consequences of content published automatically under settings you configured and did not choose to review.
5. Subscriptions and billing
Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly, unless otherwise stated) via Paddle.com Market Limited, our payment provider. Paddle acts as the Merchant of Record for all purchases: your contract for the purchase is with Paddle, and Paddle handles payment processing, VAT and sales tax and invoicing on our behalf. Prices are shown in GBP and may include VAT depending on your location. You can cancel at any time from your account; cancellation stops future billing but does not retroactively refund the current billing period except as set out in our Refund Policy.
6. Acceptable use
You must not use Signalpost to publish unlawful, defamatory, fraudulent, or misleading content, to impersonate another person or business, or in a way that breaches LinkedIn's own terms of service. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section, with notice where reasonably possible.
7. Service availability
We aim to keep Signalpost running reliably but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Scheduled or emergency maintenance may cause temporary downtime.
8. Termination
You may cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these Terms, non-payment, or unlawful use, with notice where reasonably possible.
9. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability to you for any claim arising from your use of Signalpost is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of business, revenue or reputation.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice before they take effect.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
